Zach earned his J.D. (with honors) and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago. He received his B.B.A. in Finance with a Minor in Energy Technology and Management from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.

Before law school, Zach worked in finance and risk for a multi-national software company, gaining experience in capital financing, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions. He chose to pursue law to help provide practical, business-minded solutions for innovative clients.

During law school, Zach received CALI Excellence Awards in Trademarks, Intellectual Property Licensing and Negotiations, Commercial Law, and Trial Advocacy.
